During the month of May, members of Martin Luther Church were again in the “giving” frame of mind as the two mission projects were deemed another success.
For the Undie Sunday mission project, we collected new socks and undies for all ages. For the Putting Your Best Foot Forward mission project, we gathered new and gently used shoes of all kinds for all ages. A VERY large amount of shoes, socks & undies were then taken to the Orphan Grain Train warehouse in Lincoln. Orphan Grain train works in 65 counties around the world and also distributes in the U.S. Our contributions of the items collected in May are very needed and appreciated.
