Renae Erin (Ottemann) Ernesti entered the Church Triumphant on October 12, 2023.

 

 

Renae’s funeral was held at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, in Columbus, Nebraska on Monday, October 16.   Rev. Chris Alexander of St. John’s Lutheran Church – Shell Creek, Columbus, presided at the service.   

On October 18,  Pastor Ken Tubbesing presided at a 12:00 noon prayer service with Rev. Chris Alexander presiding at the burial service on the Martin Luther Church Cemetery.

 

The MLC church family joins with the family in remembering the 47 years that Renae walked her earthly journey.  Renae fought cancer courageously for over three years. Her caring attitude and contagious smile will truly be missed. She never let cancer stop her from living her life to the fullest.  She was a life-long member of Martin Luther Church.

She was preceded in death by her infant son Nicholas Steven Rathbone, father Harlan Ottemann, nephew Kadan DeBuse, and grandparents.
