Marcille Mardella Bohling entered into the Church Triumphant on May 16, 2025.
Pastor Ken Tubbesing presided at the funeral service at Martin Luther Church on May 23, 2025. Interment is in the Martin Luther Church Cemetery.
The MLC church family joins with the family in remembering the almost 98 years years that Marcille walked her earthly journey. She was very active in the church, American Legion Auxiliary, Johnson Rag, and drove a Johnson Brock school bus for twenty-five years. Marcille’s funeral on May 23 would have been her 98th birthday.
Marcille was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Lydia (Behrends) Fass; her husband Alvin who passed in 2002, and her son, Darwin Bohling.
MLC church family extends our sympathy to her daughter and son-in-law, Meredith and Robert Boone; and daughter, Ramona Lightfoot; sister, Eldeen Hanke and husband, Dale; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your servant, Marcille Bohling. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock. Receive her into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light.
