The MLC church family joins with the family in remembering the 72 years that Lola walked her earthly journey.  Lola worked worked many years in the dietary departments of Clarkson Hospital and other organizations in Omaha.  She moved to Auburn in 2011 and at that time joined those at Martin Lutheran Church in the pilgrimage on earth.  Being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in mid-life and due to health concerns, she spent her final years at the Good Samaritan Center in Auburn.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Miriam Digerness and niece, Lacy Rippe.

MLC church family extends our sympathy to her sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Loyal Rippe; her nephew Keith (Marissa) Fischer; niece Kayla (Nate) Neemann, great nieces and nephews, Chase and Peyton Fischer, Natalee and Brooks Neemann.

Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your servant, Lola Digerness.  Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock.  Receive her into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness,
which the LORD, the righteous judge, will give me on that day,
and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.  2 Timothy 4:7-8
