Herman H. Stutheit entered into the Church Triumphant on July 27, 2024.

 

Pastor Ken Tubbesing presided at the family  funeral service at Martin Luther Church on July 31st. Interment is in the Martin Luther Church Cemetery.

 

 

The MLC church family joins with the family in remembering the 85 years that Herman walked his earthly journey.  He was a lifelong Lutheran being baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church (“The Stutheit Church”).  He was confirmed at Martin Luther Church where he continued to be active throughout his life.  Herman had a passion and talent of livestock husbandry that led him into a sales career revolving around pork producers.  

MLC church family extends our sympathy to his wife of 66 years, Jeannette; son and daughter-in-law Curtis and Cathy Stutheit; daughters and sons-in-law Kelly and Alan Rippe, Jenny and Lee Moerer; grandchildren Brittany (Jonathan) Sharman, Camden Stutheit (significant other Jen Nguyen), Blake (Ashley) Rippe, Maura (Bryan) Hillman, Chrystine (Riley) Stubbendeck, Alyssa Rippe (fiancé Dakotah Doolittle), Morgan (Chris) Marshall, and Melanie (Todd) Munson; great-grandchildren Khloe and Kade Sharman, Evelyn, Laura, Allie and Emma Rippe, Harvey, Charley and Barrett Hillman, Landon and Logan Marshall, Brecken and Kasen Munson; sister-in-law Karen Dunekacke of Fairbury; many other relatives and friends.

Herman was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Alma (Oestmann); sister and brother-in-law Dolores and Lorraine Hahn, and brother-in-law Paul Dunekacke.
