Delton Lloyd Panko entered the Church Triumphant on August 18, 2026. Pastor Ken Tubbesing presided at the 2:00 p.m Saturday, August 29th memorial service at Martin Luther Church. Inurnment is in the Martin Luther Church Cemetery, Johnson, Nebraska.
The MLC church family joins with the Panko family in remembering the 92 years that Delton walked with God here on this earth. Delton grew up on a farm near Burr, Nebraska. He attended Peru Teachers College and DeForest for a Radio and TV Repair Certificate. Marrying Frances Biere in 1956, and after military service in the army, they returned to the farm in Burr where he farmed and did part-time radio and tv repair. After retiring, he and Fran moved to Burr and then later to Tecumseh.
We extend our sympathy to Delton’s family, son Mark and wife Kim; daughter Julie and husband, Bob Haberman; and daughter Jane and husband, Gary Kuhl; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Delton’s wife, Fran, preceded him in death in 2013.
Delton’s daughter Jane and husband, Gary as well as their daughters, Katie Atkins and Anna Jones and families are a part of the MLC church family.
